New 'Narnia' Film Reflects Modern Spiritual Battle

The second installment of C.S. Lewis� beloved �Chronicles of Narnia� will be released this week to the silver screen, where once again moviegoers will be exposed to truths about the Christian faith.

�The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian,� opening in theaters May 16, is the follow-up to the 2005 box-office hit �The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.�

In �Prince Caspian,� the Pevensie children � Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy � are magically and mysteriously transported from England back to Narnia to help Caspian regain his throne from his power-hungry uncle, Lord Miraz.

But when the youths return to Narnia, they find that the land and people have greatly changed. While the siblings have only aged a year, 1,300 years have passed in the magical land. The Pevensie�s find that only a small number of Narnians still believe in the story of Aslan � who has not been seen in centuries � the Stone Table, and a time when animals talked...

Rich Christiano is in pre-production on his next film called
THE SECRETS OF JONATHAN SPERRY with Gavin MacLeod in the lead role. The story is about a 75 year old man in 1970 who disciples three 12-twelve year old boys to encouarge them to follow Jesus. The production is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2007. Kevin Downes will produce.

David White and Kevin Downes (End of the Harvest, The Moment After, Six) plan to team up again to film To The Wall, a story about two guys who never met their fathers who were friends and died in the Vietnam War. They hope to film this sometime this year.

Gary Wheeler plans to film in June The List, based on the Robert Whitlow novel. Kevin Downes will Produce. A limited theatrical release is planned sometime in 2006.

Piercing the Veil this summer.

Rich Christiano (Time Changer) plans to start filming his new film UFO on March 19th. The movie is the story of three reporters from a national magazine who start investigating ufo sightings in a small Texas town. A February 2006 limited theatrical release is planned.
